Specifications include, but are not limited to: Paratransit services are provided within all areas of Volusia County, which includes the greater Daytona Beach Area, South Daytona, Port Orange, Holly Hill, Ormond Beach, DeLand, Deltona, DeBary, Osteen, Orange City, Lake Helen, Pierson, Seville, New Smyrna, Edgewater, Oak Hill, Samsula and all other rural areas. Paratransit service shall be available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week, including holidays, when necessary for emergencies or unusual circumstances. Regular Votran 2 paratransit hours include, but are not be limited to, seven (7) days a week, Monday through Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (midnight), and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Votran is closed for business on Christmas, New Years Day, and Thanksgiving. Votran reserves the right to expand or decrease days of services and/or hours of operations as needed. During emergency evacuation scenarios, Votran will require assistance in the provision of stretcher service for residents needing transportation out of evacuation areas. Contractor services shall be used to provide the stretcher transportation.
