Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors for the construction of a 10-foot-wide multimodal path, approximately 0.867 miles in length. The project will connect to existing bicycle lanes on both the north and south sides of SE Monterey Road, the existing sidewalk on the north side of SE Monterey Road, and the existing lane on SE Palm Beach Road at 16th Court. The scope of work includes shoulder widening, repair and/or replacement of existing drainage, roadway improvements, signalization, and signing and pavement marking. Funds for this project are derived from a State of Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program (LAP) grant agreement (FPN# 444405-2-58-01 / FAIN# D424-076-B / Contract # G3B04). Therefore, the successful Contractor and its subcontractors shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers’ compensation, licenses, and registration requirements.
