Specifications include, but are not limited to: Performs work functions associated with maintaining security and safety at assigned County buildings and facilities. Work may be carried on during the day as well as at night. Work is generally performed in accordance with established procedures, but specific instructions may be given on unusual situations. Some, but not all, basic duties would include, but not be limited to, patrol of building and grounds, intervenes in disturbances in County buildings and/or on County property, responds to emergency calls, alarms and threats, and prepare/receive a variety of forms and incident reports. Contractors employees shall wear distinctive, clean, neat appearing uniforms and footwear while working on premises. Uniforms, including color and design, will be approved by the contract administrator.
