Specifications include, but are not limited to: A firm percentage discount off the current MSRP, for a period of one year, for the purchase of security systems, services, and parts for use in various locations owned/operated by the School Board. Firm fixed pricing is also requested for individual items (consumable products), and bi-annual service inspections of gate systems. It is also the intent of the School Board to establish an hourly installation and repair rate for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of security systems (alarms and access controls) and gate systems at locations owned/operated by the School Board. Any Contractor that is bidding the installation, repair, and/or maintenance of security alarm systems or access control systems of the bid, shall be licensed by the State of Florida as a registered Electrical Contractor - Class EF – an Alarm System Contractor I or a Class EG – an Alarm System Contractor II.
