Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Replace current high pressure sand filters for 50 meter x 25 yard pool. There are currently 3 high pressure sand filters. These are to be replaced with 2 horizontal high pressure sand filters with 80 sq. ft. of filter area per filter. Filters to have single lever backwash systems. This is to also include sand, diaphragms, and all components needed for installing the new filters. Contractor will be responsible for demolition and removal of old filtration systems, as well as installation of new filters and components associated with them. Flow rate for this pool must exceed 1,345 gallons per minute to meet the 4x turnover rate required by the Department of Health. B. Replace current high pressure sand filters for the Dive Pool. There are currently 2 high pressure sand filters. These are to be replaced with 1 single high pressure sand filters with at least 31 sq. ft. of filter area. Filter to have single lever backwash system. This is to also include sand, diaphragms, and all components needs for installing the new filters. Contractor will be responsible for demolition and removal of old filtration systems, as well as installation of new filters and components associated with them. Flow rate for this pool must exceed 574 gallons per minute to meet the 4x turnover rate required by the Department of Health.
