Task 1.A. Trail Decking and Toerail Repair Maintenance. The existing decking system consists of a 3” thick wood GLB panel system, attached to the joist system with ¼”-diameter lag bolts, 6” long, with spacing as shown on the attached shop drawings. All deck bolts to be recessed into the panel 7/8”-diameter, ½” deep with a poly plug. The deck panels vary in width but maintain a 3” thickness (reference attached shop drawings). Removal of the existing toe-plate is required for deck removal and installation. Reinstall existing toe-plate when complete. If toe-plate is in a degraded state and cannot be reinstalled, preplace as required in like, size and kind. Task 1.B. Decking and Toerail Materials (itemized/quantity of materials) New decking specifications are as follows: • Glulam Material: Southern Yellow Pine, Industrial Grade, Treated CCA 0.6 PCF • Steel (bolts, clips, etc.) A36 Grade, Galvanized. Bolts and Threaded Rod (where applicable) are A307 Grade, Galvanized
