Hendry County is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Bidder or Contractor, to provide construction services in connection with roadway improvements on CR835 from 1.02 miles north of KT Grove Road to 0.45 miles south of Obern Road in Clewiston, FL. Please refer to Exhibit “A” for a location map of the roadway project limits. The intent of the Contract is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work including the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete same in accordance with the Procurement Documents. 2.1 The work consists of roadway improvements on CR835 from 1.02 miles north of KT Grove Road to 0.45 miles south of Obern Road in accordance with the plans that were prepared by Johnson Engineering, Inc. which may include, but are not limited to: Mobilization Maintenance of traffic (MOT) incidental to the construction Surveying (Property line identification and construction staking) Clearing and grubbing, including removal and disposal of all materials generated and disposed of at a proper disposal site Excavation and embankment Shoulder rework Grading work Milling and resurfacing of existing roadway Construction of driveway turnouts Drainage improvements Installation of guardrail Installation of rip-rap Installation of sod and other erosion control measures as required Installation of signage and pavement markings Utility coordination Testing Permits Secure necessary paperwork to access private property when needed Complete restoration of construction site As-built survey
