A. The project consists of the Milling & Resurfacing, adding Paved Shoulder to an existing County road. The work in the contract will be performed on roads identified in the construction plans in Hernando County, Florida. B. The scope of this project includes shoulder excavations, stabilization, placement of new lime rock base, milling & paving, minor shoulder & swale grading, small ADA sidewalk replacement, sign relocations, new sign installations, placement of sod, RPM's, paint striping and thermoplastic striping. The contract also involves adherence to NPDES requirements and silt fence and drainage counter measures that have been provided in the project plan set. Adherence to maintenance of traffic per the applicable FDOT and MUTCD indexes and chapters is also a requirement. C. If needed, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a yard for parking, maintenance, and storage of all equipment at no expense to the County. This area shall be restored to its original condition at the contractor's expense. D. The CONTRACTOR shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the public.
