Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Is a secure SaaS solution operating on a cloud-based environment located in the continental United States that is accessible from various secure client devices through a supported thin client interface such as a supported web browser (e.g., web-based email) or a supported program interface; b. Implements and is aligned with current best practices in information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection such as the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, the OWASP Security Verification Standard, and related standards, and is HIPAA compliant; c. Integrates with and links to Broward Health’s active identity and access management user directory and account provisioning systems to have an up-to-date list of users and departments; d. Utilizes single sign-on (“SSO”) user account authentication supporting SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) and compatible with Microsoft Azure Active Directory SSO, or utilizes two-factor authentication if SSO is not available; e. Is OLE DB (Object Linking and Embedding Database) and ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) compatible to support Microsoft SQL; f. Contains the ability to import PDFs, TIFFs; JPEGs, DOCs, and other common file types; g. Integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat; h. Contains the capability of “image enable” host applications through internal scripting such as ActiveX or VBScript; i. Is capable of supporting and storing, processing, and sending large amounts of data in a secure manner (e.g., storage area network); j. Is scalable and highly available so that performance of the CMS or any individual user is not affected by any spike in demand; k. Designed to be fault-tolerant so that if any subsystem failure occurs, there is no resulting service outage; l. Supports central configuration for all applications/modules and provides for remote administration; and m. Supports Windows network peripherals such as printers, fax servers, and scanners.
