Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Alta Enterprises, LLC, d/b/a Alta Construction Equipment Florida, LLC (Alta), at a total cost of $250,000.00, for ongoing and as needed maintenance, service, parts, and warranties for County owned Volvo construction equipment through December 31, 2025, for the Fleet Management Department. This procurement is being made in accordance with the County’s Procurement Policy Section 3-208(15) and is considered a noncompetitive procurement because Alta is the only authorized vendor in the State of Florida that can provide the required maintenance, service, parts, and warranties to the existing Volvo construction equipment. The services are required to ensure the County’s equipment is well maintained and in proper operation when in use.
