Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal and Replacement of the Gate and Gate Operator Replacements at Vehicle Maintenance Entrance & Main Warehouse Entrance located on the Southwest Florida International Airport Property. The purpose of this informal quote is to establish a one (1) time purchase for services to remove, replace, and install gate and gate operator replacements at two (2) separate locations for the Authority at the Southwest Florida International Airport property. The gate operator replacements are needed for the Vehicle Maintenance entrance and for the Main Warehouse entrance. These are two (2) separate entrances, one entrance at each location identified. There are approximately (fifteen) 15 gates throughout the LCPA campus that require gate operators and this project would standardize these two (2) identified locations to match the current access control gates throughout the campus. The current gates fail to properly operate during inclement weather resulting in personnel having to make repairs under adverse conditions. These gates are operated by 480V electrical circuits and 24V DC circuits. The intent is to keep the same equipment throughout to limit the amount of inventory needed and ultimately keep maintenance costs lower. The footprints of equipment is different from manufacturer to manufacturer, therefore, having the same equipment allows the LCPA Systems team to be trained on one type of equipment.
