The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) seeks proposals for the refurbishment of a Goulds Model 3409 pump. - Disassemble and Inspect All Pump Parts - Sand Blast All Parts - Clean and Polish Shaft Sleeves - Furnish and Install (2) New Original Factory Mechanical Seals - Furnish and Install New Gaskets - Check All Mechanical Tolerances - Perform Dye Penetrating Testing on Pump Shaft - Furnish and Install (2) New Original Factory Casing Wear Rings - Dynamically Balance Shaft and Impeller - Furnish and Install (2) New Bearings - Re-Assemble Split Case Pump, Paint, & Q.C. Inspect; Additional Work: - All surfaces shall be cleaned with high pressure potable water to remove loose paint, loose rust, paint chalk, dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign matter. - Decontaminate with Chlor-Rid - Sandblast to a SSPC SP5 White Blast Condition - Repair Impeller Shaft Seats - Fill pitting with Belzona 1121 Super XL Metal - First coat of Belzona 134N Super Metal Glide at 10Mils DFT (potable water grade) - Second coat of Belzona 134N Super Metal Glide at 10Mils DFT (potable water grade)
