Specifications include, but are not limited to: DEO is requesting information for an archival and purge solution (the “Solution”) that integrates with the existing DEO System. The Solution will archive or purge data that meets Florida’s records retention schedule. Data has never been archived or purged from the System, and the System currently stores approximately 20 terabytes. As a result, System performance is diminished. An archive and purge strategy will improve overall System health, which will help to enhance System performance, improve information security and data integrity, and improve Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) in a disaster recovery situation. An archival and purge process complements and supports the State of Florida’s Cloud First strategy, as the performance of the System will improve when the System database size is better managed.
