Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Housing Authority of Pompano Beach (Local Authority, Housing Authority or HAPB) is soliciting Statements of Proposals from experienced security consultant companies to provide Security Consultant Services on an as-needed basis for the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach. The purpose of this solicitation is to retain a security consultant to provide security recommendations to the agency on an as-needed basis in the following areas, including but not limited to: security planning; risk assessment, security audits, physical security; cybersecurity; emergency preparedness; training and awareness. The services include as-needed Security Consultant Services in the identified area(s) of expertise. A brief description of the required services follows: 1. Risk assessment: identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in a client’s operations, infrastructure, and assets. 2. Security planning: develop comprehensive security plans and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure safety. 3. Security audits: reviewing the effectiveness of existing security measures and identifying areas for improvement. 4. Physical security: evaluating and recommending physical security measures such as access control, surveillance systems and intrusion detection systems. 5. Cybersecurity: assessing the client’s cybersecurity posture and recommending measures to protect against cyber threats such as hacking, malware and data breaches, if applicable. 6. Emergency preparedness: developing plans and procedures to respond to emergencies such as natural disasters, terrorist attaches and security breaches. 7. Training and awareness: training staff on security best practices, conducting security awareness campaigns and promoting a culture of security within the organization.
