The purpose of this RFP is to secure a lease agreement with a qualified golf operator as the new tenant (the “Proposer” or “Respondent” or “Firm”) to operate, maintain, and market the city’s municipal golf course and related facilities known as Forest Lake Golf Club, which is comprised of an 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, practice green(s), maintenance facility and cart barn, clubhouse, golf shop, restaurant, and other related facilities and improvements, all as further specified and designated by the City, in the City’s sole discretion. The City is seeking individual operators, joint ventures, or firms who are not just interested in operating and maintaining the golf course, but also to see the benefits of enhancing the current course condition and clubhouse facilities that will provide the opportunity to create a community venue platform, utilize for events and expand long-term revenue opportunities.
