Specifications include, but are not limited to: assist in the review and analysis of the current organizational structure and service delivery of the Department of Planning and Land Use (DPLU) as well as the associated land development services provided by other departments of the County of San Diego, e.g. the Departments of Public Works, Environmental Health and Parks and Recreation. The County is considering reengineering the Department of Planning and Land Use as well as the land development services provided by other County departments to 1) improve customer service, 2) improve the quality and completeness of work, and 3) ensure that the land development process promotes safe and livable communities. To do this, the County is soliciting input from customers, stakeholders and employees to define goals and priorities that the County will consider in analyzing potential alternatives for change.
