To design, remove existing playground, supply and install new playground equipment, utilizing the existing shade cover, and fall zone material for Hope Park. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project requires a contractor to design, supply and install a commercial grade playground system including fall zone material and utilize the existing stand-alone shade cover at Hope Park located at 8161 Lombra Ave North Port, FL 34287. Work is to include providing design of a minimum 3,000 square foot play area, excavation, grading, curbing, the installation of commercial grade playground equipment, equipment footings, drainage materials, landing mats, geotextile fabric and fall zone material. All labor, materials, equipment, and consumables will be supplied, assembled, and installed by the Contractor or their qualified Sub-Contractor(s). The City requires Proposers to submit one (1) design for a playground that meets or exceeds all current federal CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA standards and ADA requirements. The proposals shall include the cost for all transportation, labor, materials, consumables, and equipment to install the playground as designed, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions, and maintenance and operations manuals from the manufacturer. The project site is an existing neighborhood park with a newly installed shade cover that should be utilized in the proposed plan.
