Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Awardee(s) shall be required to provide school cleaning on a daily basis for scheduled school days, and as needed to perform the program during planning days, summer, and breaks. Administrative facilities shall be cleaned daily for the 254 day per year schedule. Additional cleaning during the winter break may be required to meet program standards. During the School Year, schools are maintained in the 80’s to conserve energy during the evening. For work performed during the evening during the School Year, Awardee’s custodial staff shall be expected to work in these maintained conditions. 1. All cleaning activities shall be coordinated with the school office to avoid interruption to the school day and scheduled evening programs. Routine cleaning shall be scheduled for the period after school is released in the afternoon. Detailed check lists shall be used to insure all required work is performed on a timely basis. To be considered for award, all proposers must provide copies and executed examples such a checklist system with their bid proposal.
