Contractor will provide preventive maintenance services and technical support to maintain the existing ADB Safegate Americas LLC brand Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring Systems (ALCMS) at Miami International Airport (MIA), Homestead, Opa-locka and Miami Executive Airport. The ALCMS is a distributed computer-based system that allows the Federal Aviation air traffic controllers to control the intensity of the lights on all airport taxiways and runways, including aircraft directional signage. The system computers located at the aircraft control towers and other related components on the airfield need to be accessed and serviced on a routine basis to preserve the reliability of this system which aircraft depend upon for guidance and movement on the County airfields. Due to the complexity of Miami International Airport and to guarantee compliance with industry standards and continue meeting FAA PAR 139 Airport Certification, complete and thorough preventive maintenance and inspection on all aspects of the system (inspection and diagnostics, testing, cleaning, calibration, site survey, etc.) is required.
