The Health Care District of Palm Beach County, Florida (hereinafter, the District), isrequesting proposals from qualified vendors to outsource and manage the completerevenue cycle at Lakeside Medical Center (LMC). The District shall select a qualifiedfirm based on consideration of cost, professional qualifications, and relevantexperience.The District is a political subdivision of the State of Florida, established as anindependent taxing district by special statute and approved by Palm Beach Countyvoters (Palm Beach County Health Care Act, 1988).The District was founded in 1988 to ensure access to a comprehensive health caresystem and the delivery of quality services for the residents of Palm Beach County. TheDistrict accomplishes their mission through various programs and services, including anintegrated Trauma System, School Nurse program, Skilled Nursing Facility and theirnew hospital, LMC located in western Palm Beach County. The District also offerscoverage for Palm Beach County s uninsured population through a host of innovativeproducts.
