Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department is seeking a non-secure twenty-four (24) bed residential program for males between the ages sixteen and twenty-one who have completed their high school diploma or equivalent prior to residential commitment placement, or who received their high school diploma or equivalent while in a residential program. For this program to be successful, it is required that the Respondent coordinate services with the youth’s Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) due to the nontraditional schedule required for this program model. In addition to the CTE services required at the program, the Respondent must provide youth with Substance Abuse Treatment Overlay Services (SAOS) and/or Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS). Program services are to include innovations in delinquency programming and treatment services, as described in Attachment A, Services Sought, Attachment A-1, Health and Nursing Services, and all additional or relevant Office of Health Services (OHS) Attachments. The Department shall allow for the flexibility of beds, based on the Department’s needs for treatment services. The program shall be in a Department-owned building located at 3001 26th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33712 in DJJ’s Central Region. The Respondent shall propose a program name that represents the Career and Technical Education model of this program.
