Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Invitation to Bid is issued for the purpose of securing a Price Agreement Contract for the purchase of replacement PEP pumps. The City of Palm Coast currently uses Champion Pump EVH 412 and Effluent CPE5A1-10. This bid shall be for the purchase of pumps only. A. Estimated Quantities – A estimated quantity of 500 units delivered at a rate of approx. 42 per month and must be received one (1) week after notification order. The following amount is given for bidder’s guidance only, however no minimum amount is guaranteed or implied. Purchase orders shall be issued on an as required basis. B. Delivery – Price quoted shall include all delivery charges to address designated within lead time. Failure to meet delivery lead time and or quantity necessitating Palm Coast to make purchase(s) from other sources shall cause successful bidder to be held liable for the difference of all cost between awarded bid price and the cost of required purchase from another source. C. Each pump shall be capable of delivering the following performance points: • 10 U.S. GPM at 44’ TDH • 20 U.S. GPM at 41 TDH. • 60 U.S. GPM at 14’ TDH • shut off head of 48 TDH (minimum). • The pump motor speed shall be 3450RPM, 1/2HP (maximum) • Full load amps 8.5, Single Phase, 60 Hertz, 115 Volts. • The pump (s) shall be manufactured by a company regularly engaged in the manufacture and assembly of similar units for a minimum of five (5) years. The pump (s) shall be Champion Pump model CPE5AI-10. D. PUMP DESIGN: Each pump shall be capable of handling septic tank effluent with ¾” inch diameter spherical solids. The pump (s) shall be capable of handling liquids with temperatures to 140 degrees F intermittent.
