• The vault expansion consists of creating a new space approximately 970 SQ.FT. consecutive with the existing Vault #2 (N-945). The expansion for the new evidence vault includes: o New partitions, new finish floor and baseboard, and a new opening, as well as wall finishing and painting. o Demolition of existing and installation of new 2’x4’ acoustical ceiling tiles as indicated on plans. o The new vault partitions must include barrier (security) mesh behind the drywall attached to the studs (DEA evidence room type). The new space (referred to as Vault #3) will be accessed from the existing Vault #2. A new access control point must be added to regulate and register the access to the new room, between both vaults. The prospective bidder shall include in his/her bid, provisions for all conduit and infrastructure required. Installation by others. • Fire Protection scope shall be to relocate and replace existing sprinkler heads to accommodate new vault as indicated on plans. • HVAC scope includes new distribution system, in specified areas, connected to existing, including new VAV boxes, as per plans. For the new vault, all ductwork penetrations through new partition shall have security barrier, as indicated on plans. New recirculation air purifiers to be installed inside new vault, as indicated on plans. • Electrical scope shall support all mechanically installed equipment (VAV’s, etc.) as required and include new light fixtures to be installed and fed from existing circuit. • Low Voltage/Security includes the installation of cameras provided by owner and relocation of existing low voltage devices as depicted on plans.
