Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Volusia County School District (VCSD) is to solicit information from qualified suppliers for the provision and installation of intercom, clocks, bells, emergency notification system, and door ajar detection technology integration that aligns with Florida Statutes and Department of Education Rules. The system must include electronic display boards or crawlers, classroom audio speakers in every classroom, integration with the existing Raptor security system and Centegix emergency notification systems, door open detection alerts, monitoring camera integration, as well as wireless and Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. VCSD seeks information on both comprehensive and individual solutions for these content areas. It is important to note that the VCSD is not requesting formal proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Following the review of responses, interviews may be scheduled.
