• Pressure washing must be performed to all exterior surfaces to remove all dirt/dust and mildew. Use appropriate cleaning solutions and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application • Paint must be applied to all clean surfaces in a two or three stage process depending on the surface. Surface cracks shall be repaired prior to painting using the appropriate paintable fillers and sealants. All paint applications much include two finish coats. • The Contractor shall take all precautions to protect the gutters, roofs, and furniture, floorings, and landscaping for this work. The Contractor will be liable for any damages caused through their actions. Paint overspray will be controlled. • The City of Fernandina shall choose the paint and trim colors prior to the start of the job. • The Contractor shall maintain a proper dress code for all its employees while they are on the jobsite, shirts shall be worn at all times. There will be no loud radios allowed on the jobsite. The jobsite is a City of Fernandina Beach property that will be in operation during the project. The Contractors employees must maintain common courtesy while on the grounds to the staff and visitors.
