The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, transportation, and approved cleaning products necessary to perform pressure washing services at designated City facilities. The City shall provide access to facilities and water sources, as required. Services are divided into the following groups: • Group 1 – Interior Pressure Washing Services (priced per building) • Group 2 – Exterior Pressure Washing Services (priced per building) • Group 3 – Additional Pressure Washing Services (priced per square foot for facilities not specifically listed) Service Locations (Groups 1 & 2): • Garage 1 – 245 Andalusia Avenue – approx. 103,500 sq. ft., 3 levels • Garage 2 – 220 Aragon Avenue – approx. 274,264 sq. ft., 9 levels • Garage 3 – 204 Minorca Avenue – approx. 188,630 sq. ft., 7 levels • Garage 4 – 385 Andalusia Avenue – approx. 149,800 sq. ft., 3 levels • Garage 6 – 51 Aragon Avenue – approx. 199,010 sq. ft., 8 levels Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit and inspect each of the facilities listed in the Service Locations prior to submitting a bid. 2.3 General Requirements (Applicable to All Groups) The Contractor shall, at a minimum 2.3.1 Have technical knowledge to support correct application of pressure and any chemicals used in the pressure washing cleaning process. 2.3.2 Pretreat all designated areas with a biodegradable degreaser. The use of caustic substances, including bleach or chlorine, is strictly prohibited. 2.3.3 Submit Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all proposed cleaning products to the City’s Sustainability Division (sustainability@coralgables.com) for written approval prior to use. Only non-toxic or environmentally safe products shall be permitted. 2.3.4 Take precautions to prevent damage to roofs, structures, utilities, equipment, lighting, elevators, fire alarm circuits, and other building systems. The Contractor shall repair or replace any damage with like kind and quality materials at no cost to the City, subject to City approval. 2.3.5 Use brush cleaning and low-pressure cleaning when necessary to avoid damage to building exteriors and windows.
