Emergency non-bulk orders shall be delivered within three (3) hours of receipt of the County’s request for delivery. Successful Contractor(s) will be held to delivery dates. Failure to meet delivery or lead time necessitating Charlotte County to make purchase(s) from other sources 10 BID No. 20250740 shall cause successful Contractor to be held liable for the difference of cost between awarded quote price and the cost of the required purchase from another source. On the bid form, the chemicals listed above have been split into two (2) groups. Group ‘A’ contains the bulk items, and Group ‘B’ contains the non-bulk items. This contract may be awarded in whole, or in part by group, whichever is in the best interest of the County. If Contractor would like his firm to be considered for award for those chemicals in Group ‘A’ only, a unit price must be bid for each item within Group ‘A’. If Contractor would like his firm to be considered for award for those chemicals in Group ‘B’ only, a unit price must be bid for each item within Group ‘B’. Bulk Deliveries – All bulk deliveries shall be made in accordance with the specific site schedules specified herein. However, should a need arise for an unscheduled bulk delivery at any location, it shall be delivered within 48 hours of the Contractors receipt of the County’s request. McGuire Park shall require the bulk delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite, 12.5% every four (4) weeks. This location requires the Awarded Contractor to provide, install, and maintain the appropriate size tank for the on-site storage of this chemical. McGuire Park has a 50-gallon tank. The tank provided shall be double walled, or be supplied with secondary containment, and include all required equipment and attachments. There will be no additional fees paid by the County for these items, as they are incidental to the project. Any cost associated with providing the tank or for the installation of the tank shall be included in the unit prices bid.
