4.1. Project Description Work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to deliver, sport court reconfiguration and resurfacing (if applicable) at Driftwood Community Center located at 3000 North 69 Avenue in a competent and professional manner and in compliance with all applicable safety and technical related codes and laws. The Contractor agrees to cooperate and work with the City of Hollywood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts in scheduling and completing work requested. 4.2. Technical Specifications Reconfigure an area measuring 100' x 125’ consisting of two full size tennis courts into six permanent pickleball courts. All court orientation are north/south. Remove and dispose of the two existing tennis courts infrastructure and footers. Backfill and patch footers prior too patch resurfacing those areas. Install six pickleball courts with netting systems (net post with footers and nets) and lines. Court dimensions are 44’ in length and 20’ in width. Net height is 36” at the sideline and 34” at the center. Include all court lines. Courts will have two color options. Install 211’ linear feet of 8’ black fence. Utilizing 3” O.D. DQ40 poly coated terminal poles, 2-1/2” O.D. DQ40 line poles, 1-5/8” O.D. CQ20 top rail, 6 gauge x 2” vinyl coated chain link mesh with a bottom rail. The 92' east/west fence line dividing the pickleball courts will have two standard 4' gates with latches on each side. The 117' north/south fence line dividing the pickleball courts from the tennis courts will have two standard 4' gates with latches on each side.
