A. Scope for items 1 through 18 - Disposal of Petroleum-Based Waste. The purpose and intent of this request for quotes is to establish a contract to provide disposal of Petroleum-Based Waste handling and removal services for all M-DCPS locations. These services for bulk 30- gal, 55-gal, and cubic yard boxes of metal, poly, and/or fiber construction will include, but not be limited to the disposal of oil filters, oily rags, oil dry, and emergency response. Oil, oily water, oil sludge, and antifreeze will be priced by the gallon. The contractor(s) is responsible for providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work required under the terms of this contract and shall do so in a manner that is safe, efficient, in conformance with all applicable State and local codes, and environmentally acceptable practices. The contractor(s) shall respond to normal service requirements within 72 hours after notification by the designated M-DCPS authorized representative and the issuance of a purchase order. The contractor(s) shall be responsible for cleanup and required notifications of any spill that occurs during the contract of shipping and handling and transportation of hazardous materials. Cleanup and required notifications shall be performed in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and State and Federal laws. B. Work included: Provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary for the transportation and proper disposal of hazardous and/or non-hazardous material in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. Contractor shall provide the following types of disposals as needed: 1. Incineration 2. Fuels blending operation. 3. Permitted landfill. 4. Recycle/Reclaim 5. Site for disposal of soil or absorbents contaminated with petroleum products. 6. Thermal treatment facility (stationary and mobile)
