Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional services to advise the City in understanding, considering and implementing comprehensive public education options to assist its student-citizens in reaching their educational and career potentials. The City wants to consider how to maximize educational opportunities for its student-citizens with pre-school organizations, Bay District Schools, Florida Department of Education, United States Department of Education, Florida and Congressional appropriations as well as capabilities under Florida and federal statutes. The City wants to understand what it takes to create a nationally recognized educational system which includes exceptional academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities and diverse student culture, which enables student-citizens to pursue collegiate, vocational and military careers following high school graduation. The City wants to ensure adequate continuing education, licensing and certification opportunities as well as educational and vocational training for prison populations. The City of Panama City ultimately wants to assist students of every age and achievement level to gain employment in our community.
