1. Remove all existing caulk and filler in building vertical expansion joints. Refill all expansion joints with new backer material and fill with Sika 1A sealer or approved equivalent product. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 2. All windows to be caulked using Sika 1A one part sealant or approved equivalent product. Windows to be caulked across top and sides leaving bottom open. Sealant must fill gap from frame to stucco. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 3. Pressure clean all exterior building walls including drive in landing area and sidewalks. Apply approved solution on any severely mildewed surfaces and soak before pressure cleaning. Pressure washing should be performed with a minimum of 2500PSI. Light fixtures and door access readers shall be covered/protected during this process by successful bidder. 4. Prep exterior of building. Prep includes: Masking all windows. Masking of doors while allowing for ingress and egress of building. Sealing cracks in exterior of building with approved materials. Light fixtures and door access readers shall be covered/protected during this process by successful bidder. 5. Apply Primer coat on building masonry with Sherwin Williams Loxon Masonry Sealer or approved product equivalent. Primer coat on doors and door frames will be Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl Primer or approved equivalent. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 6. The exterior of the building will be painted in 3 coats of approved product. The first coat of exterior masonry paint will be Sherwin Williams Loxon XP or approved equivalent product in DOA approved color. Light fixtures and door access readers shall be covered/protected during this process by successful bidder. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 7. Door primer will be Sherwin Williams Pro-Cryl Primer or equivalent product. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 8. Door paint will be Sherwin Williams water-based urethane semi-gloss or approved equivalent product in DOA approved color. Equivalent products must be pre-approved in writing, and at no additional cost to the County. 9. Job shall only be considered completed after inspection and written acceptance by Department of Airports representative.
