Emergency Response: o The contractor is required to provide 24/7 emergency response services with a twohour response time, once contacted by the County project manager. o The County project manager and awarded respondent(s) will mutually agree upon the physical commencement of work per individual work assignment. Equipment: The contractor must have the following equipment: o Skid Steer (rubber tracks preferred) with forks for lifting pallets of filled sandbags o Skid Steer Bucket attachment for picking up distributed sandbags o Dump truck or equivalent for hauling and dumping used sandbags to landfill for disposal. o Transport Vehicle: To move the skid steer between various buildings throughout Volusia County. Sandbag Materials: o At time of award, Contractor must have a minimum of 500 sandbags ready and available for use per event, with the ability to handle this volume on short notice. o Contractor is responsible for storage of all sandbags. o Sandbags must be woven polypropylene material and filled with Coarse Sand, Play Sand, or Builders' Sand, o Sandbags must weigh approximately 35-40 lbs. each.
