Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor will attend a prebid meeting to assure they know the full scope of work and can be sure to bid with appropriate seeds, herbicide, equipment, and application process. Herbicide applicator will be properly licensed and capable of determining vegetative species to be treated and species that should be avoided. 2. Contractor shall provide all required equipment/personnel to complete the work including herbicide pre and post grass seeding. 3. The Contractor or designee shall contact the District’s designated Site Manager by phone, at the beginning and end of each herbicide treatment day and relate to the Site Manager the work accomplished that day as well as approximate, if any, work remaining. Treatment rates will be specific to the species of plant that is being treated and will be determined by the Project Manager (PM). Contractor must provide GPS tracklogs to show thorough coverage of the treatment area. Contractor must provide a weekly reporting form to the Project Manager (See attached Figure 4). Care should be taken to avoid all non-target species impacts and any incidences of overspray. 4. Contractor shall source and collect seeds from sites that were burned between May and July of 2024. Collection sites must contain viable wiregrass and sandhill natural community seed mix sources from a north and/or central Florida approved collection site. Collection sites must be available for onsite inspection by PM prior to collection. 5. Contractor will collect enough wiregrass and sandhill species seed mix to provide, at a minimum, and eight pound of clean seed per acre planting rate. Weight per acre is for s
