The City of Winter Haven is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to install automated metering infrastructure towers, antennas and cable. The work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the installation on City owned properties for ROHN tower installation for this work. Complete installation of Tower, Antenna & Cable by the contractor and to include mounting, grounding, connection and sweeps to Neptune R900 Gateway Fixed Network Data Collector. Locations may include mounting antennas and cable on existing towers, buildings or extending existing telemetry systems ten feet. The City of Winter Haven will provide the required antenna and mounting of collectors. Contractor will be responsible for coax cable & connectors, Rohn DEP60LA with 2 degree sway at TIA and 140 mph 3 second gust, Rohn DEP40LA with 2 degree sway at TIA and 140 mph 3 second gust, ROHN DEP30LA with 2 degree sway at TIA and 140 mph 3 second gust, Rohn DEP20LA with 2 degree sway at TIA and 140 mph 3 second gust. Offset for antenna, crushed concrete or suitable aggregate, for the installation of tower to complete installation to the Neptune R900 Gateway Fixed Network Data Collector Supply unit. Antenna, cable and connectors shall be tested before and after installation per site. Soft digs up to five feet will be the responsibility of the contractor to verify clearance before any auger type equipment is used.
