The City of Kissimmee (City) hereby notifies the general public and all interested parties that the City has received an unsolicited proposal submitted pursuant to the provisions set forth in Section 255.065, of the Florida Statutes, Public Private Partnership Proposal (the P3 statute) from Kissimmee Place Development Group, Inc. for the construction, design and development of two hotels at two different locations. In compliance with the P3 statute, the City is legally required to publish notice of receipt of the unsolicited proposal and permit other competitive proposals to be received. Specifically, the unsolicited proposal project consists of one 122-room hotel to be built on undeveloped City-owned land located in the Airport Business Park (Lot 7; PIN 20-25-29-1341-0001-0070) at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport and a second hotel in the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area. The proposed hotel facilities will offer amenities such as indoor conference room space and a dog park to City residents and visitors.
