Specifications include, but are not limited to: All areas referenced as Weekly or Bi-Monthly on the NCLF map shall be mowed and trimmed from March through November. However, during times of little growth, an alternate mowing schedule may be issued by the County’s Project Manager. All Weekly and Bi-Monthly areas shall be edged, trimmed, and the concrete pads and sidewalks shall be blown free of debris. The concrete piles, rip-rap, paved areas, and flower and mulch beds shall be sprayed with a Waste & Recycling approved herbicide as part of the cut. The landfill entrance signs, administration building, and the scale houses shall be pruned and weeded as part of the Weekly and Bi-Monthly maintenance. The ditches within the Weekly and Bi-Monthly areas shall be included in the landscaping. All vegetation near manmade obstacles (i.e., fences, GFFR, culverts, monitoring wells, riprap etc.) will be trimmed or treated with a Waste & Recycling approved herbicide. Sprinkler systems at the office and scale houses shall be checked and maintained.
