Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a clearcut and thinning of two seed orchards totaling approximately 210 acres on Blackwater River State Forest in Santa Rosa County, Florida (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-CO245755). The sale consists of two areas: the 1st Generation Slash Pine Orchard, which is to be clearcut, and the Longleaf Orchard, which will be thinned. All unmarked pine timber within the sale boundaries is available for harvest. Timber in the Longleaf Orchard that is marked in yellow shall not be harvested or damaged. Estimated volumes are as follows: 1,241 tons of pine pulpwood, 42 tons of pine chip-n-saw, and 58 tons of pine sawtimber.
