Administration of Training Program The vendor shall receive, process, schedule, and confirm SFA training requests via email, web contact, or telephone. The contactor shall collect the following information from the SFA: 1) School district or county. 2) Contact person’s name, phone number, and email address. 3) Course name, training date, and time. 4) Number of attendees, training location, and shipping address. The vendor shall coordinate scheduling between SFA and instructors. Course Material Development A. The vendor shall develop and provide a course catalog approved by the Department that meets all USDA learning objectives outlined in ATTACHMENT B, USDA PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS LEARING OBJECTIVES. B. The vendor shall develop comprehensive courses, including instructional materials, handouts, pre and post-tests, and instructor evaluations approved by the Department that meets USDA learning objectives as provided in ATTACHMENT B, USDA PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS LEARNING OBJECTIVES. C. ATTACHMENT C, TRAINING COURSE OFFERINGS is the current course catalog for the Department as an example of acceptable training. The vendor shall provide all training materials for the SFA for all courses, either hardcopy or electronic, as the training course requires by July 31. D. The vendor shall provide the Department with sign in sheets, for all courses, monthly. On-site Training Requirements A. The vendor shall provide instructors experienced in school food service and the topics covered in the USDA Professional Standards for School Nutrition Professionals to conduct the trainings in accordance with ATTACHMENT D, TRAINING COURSES AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR. B. The vendor must ensure all instructors pass a Level II background screening to be allowed access to school grounds in accordance with Section 1012.467, F.S. C. The vendor shall adhere to the minimum attendee guidelines listed below for all courses: 1) Certified food safety courses, a minimum of five (5) participants is required. 2) Other training courses: i. If student enrollment for SFA is 2,499 or less, a minimum of 10 participants is required. ii. If student enrollment for SFA is 2,500-9,999, a minimum of 20 participants is required. iii. If student enrollment for SFA is 10,000 or more, a minimum of 30 participants is required.
