Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide Long Term Protected Gopher Tortoise Conservation Recipient Site(s) to accept gopher tortoises from donor site(s) located within the Turnpike Mainline Widening from State Road 50 to Minneola Interchange (Milepost 271.17 to Milepost 279.14), 4 to 8 Lanes Project in Orange and Lake CountiThe Department requires recipient site(s) to accept up to fifty-five (55) gopher tortoises with the capacity to accept additional gopher tortoises as required with future permit amendments. However, the Department may accept bids for less than the required fifty-five (55) gopher tortoises and reserves the right to retain multiple recipient sites to meet the needs of this projectes.
