Specifications include, but are not limited to: This solicitation is issued to select firms to enter into Price Agreement(s) with theOregon Department of Transportation (Agency) to provide either Transportation focusedplanning services or Land Use focused planning services that support the Agency's localgovernment Transportation and Land Use Planning projects. Proposers may submit separateproposals for one or both categories. Proposals will be evaluated and scored by categoryby separate Agency evaluation teams; based on the requirements in this RFP.General Background Information: Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) projectstypically include preparation of comprehensive, long-range, multi-modal transportation andland use plans with supportive analysis and implementation measures. TGM projects areundertaken on behalf of a local government or agency or a tribe and include extensivecoordination with and participation by local governments, Agency, other state agencies,federal agencies, private businesses, and the general public. Agency will provideconsultant services to help local governments to analyze issues, develop alternatives, andadopt solutions consistent with the TGM mission to "support community efforts to expandtransportation choices for people. By linking land use and transportation planning, TGMworks in partnership with local governments to create vibrant, livable places in whichpeople can walk, bike, take transit or drive where they want to go
