Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Carahsoft Technology Corp. (Carahsoft) for a three (3) year contract at a total cost of $142,560.00 for ongoing and as-needed access to a high-quality, online learning platform, LinkedIn Learning, for the Library Services Department. LinkedIn is the exclusive owner and sole publisher of a collection of subject-specific learning videos which have been available to County residents and staff at Hillsborough County libraries since 2015. Carahsoft is LinkedIn’s sole government distributor for LinkedIn Talent Solutions, which includes product lines for LinkedIn Learning and LinkedIn Hiring Solutions. LinkedIn is a commercially recognized source for certifications and continuing education resources. The resources offered include classes for: educational advancement; college preparation; professional certification exams through on-demand videos; software and web development which are taught by industry experts; business, creative, and soft skills; and the support of successful career transition.
