The FDOT Surveying and Mapping personnel provide Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) carrier phase and code range measurements in support of 3-dimensional positioning activities for work programs throughout the State, using the Florida Permanent Reference Network (FPRN). The existing GNSS antennas and GR30 receivers used to collect this information at the individual sites are reaching end of life. Upgrading these units will allow the FPRN to track additional frequencies broadcast by the GNSS satellites. Replacing the existing GR30 receivers with GR50 receivers will allow FDOT to track, and subsequently broadcast, all available constellations and frequencies. This will allow State Survey Personnel to take advantage of the new technologies being offered. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
