1. Conduct public hearings regarding applications for Variances, Special Exceptions and Temporary Special Exceptions; 2. Issue orders with findings of fact and conclusions of law, in accordance with relevant standards and criteria set forth in this Code; 3. Visit the site of a land development application if necessary; 4. Decide applications for Variances, Special Exceptions and Temporary Special Exceptions; 5. Decide appeals of Administrative Decisions, Administrative Determinations, Administrative Interpretations, Non-Conforming Rights Determinations, and Waivers; 6. Take any other action authorized by ordinance of the Board; and 7. Decide upon any other matter assigned to the Hearing Officer pursuant to the County’s Land Development Code.
