The Division of Animal Industry intends to purchase maintenance/support, miscellaneous repairs, parts, supplies, software, software licenses, training, and hardware support to ensure proper upkeep of Life Technologies Corporation equipment (molecular and aquaculture supplies, Trich, Reagents Testing Kits, ZIKA virus PCR Reagents, CSF-FMD Reagents and other PCR kits) used in the division's laboratories. Section 570.36, Florida Statutes - Division of Animal Industry; powers and duties. - The duties of the Division of Animal Industry include, but are not limited to: (1) Enforcing those provisions of Chapter 585, and rules adopted pursuant thereto, relating to testing, supervising, controlling, and eradicating brucellosis and tuberculosis in livestock. Life Technologies Corporation is the only known source with the technical knowledge for required maintenance, repair services, training support, parts, and supplies for this equipment used in the division's laboratories.
