Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Daily Services The Vendor shall provide the following janitorial services on a daily basis (Monday through Friday): 1. Empty all wastebaskets and replace liners whenever any soiling is visible. Remove all waste materials, including cardboard and packing materials, and place in designated container(s). All large cardboard containers shall be reduced in size by disassembly and flattening prior to being placed in designated refuse container(s). 2. Clean and disinfect all drinking fountains. 3. Clean and vacuum the entire District Secretary's suite to include the restroom and the additional office areas in the suite. 4. Clean and vacuum each of the three Directors offices, the Mail Room, Central Copy Facility, and the Office Information Technology (OIT) offices. These offices shall be cleaned by the day porter during normal business hours; see Section II.G. 5. Clean all restrooms: Mop floors with a disinfectant solution using a fresh solution mixture for each restroom. Floors shall be clean of all dirt, debris, mildew, and stains. Brush clean urinals and toilets with an antiseptic solution using a fresh solution mixture for each restroom. Scrub washbasins and adjacent counters and fixtures with a disinfectant solution. Wipe and disinfect toilet seats with a disinfectant. Spot clean doors and walls using a disinfectant and mildew retardant solution. Clean and polish chrome fittings. Remove any spots, stains, and splashes from walls adjacent to washbasins and showers. Clean and disinfect showers assuring that all soap residue is removed from shower walls and that shower curtains are free of mildew and soap residue. Clean the mirrors. Replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue from vendor stock. 6. Clean and disinfect all snack bar/break room fixtures and surfaces to include ice machine, sinks, cabinets, and counter tops. Clean all tables, table legs and chairs. All snack bar/break room surfaces shall be cleaned with a disinfectant solution and shall be free of food particles, dirt, and scum. Empty trash containers and replace plastic liners using clear/natural liners. LVT floor to be damp mopped with water or solution only. No stripping or waxing of LVT is permitted. If buffing is needed, a white bonnet must be used. 7. Sweep patio, clean patio tables and chairs, and empty waste containers. Wash/disinfect/deodorize waste containers using a disinfectant solution. 8. Dust and clean all horizontal surfaces below seven feet to include top of door frames ensuring that all office and work areas are free of dust and debris. 9. Dust and polish all wood surfaces of lobby and receptionist furniture with a product that does not leave the surfaces greasy. 10. Clean glass entrance doors for all entrances. Spot clean interior doors, frames, and wall surfaces. 11. Police the grounds surrounding the building and pick up any waste. Empty and clean exterior refuse cans and ashtrays. 12. Keep all janitorial closets neat and clean. Empty mop buckets and remove any waste material. 13. Turn off lights and check that door(s) are shut and properly secured when finished cleaning an area. Notify the Department Contract Manager of any building security problems. 14. Vacuum all hallways, conference rooms, traffic ways and common areas within work areas. Vacuum or sweep any other carpeted area that has visible dirt or debris in a concentration to be unsightly. Vacuum all areas that contain debris created or caused by cleaning personnel. 15. Sweep/dust/mop all non-carpeted floors (except for the 900 sq. ft. of concrete floors in the mechanical and electrical rooms). 16. Remove soiled spots from the carpeting. Spot cleaning shall be accomplished during non-business hours (6:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. daily during the week and from 6:00p.m. Friday to 7:00a.m. Monday during the weekend) to preclude increased soiling of wet carpet in high traffic areas. 17. Thoroughly dust, scrub, mop and/or buff lobby/receptionist floor using a disinfectant/cleansing solution as required to maintain a clean and neat appearance.
