Grants & Contract Compliance Division seeks a qualified firm to focus on uniting citywide resources in reducing crime and mitigating the effects of violence in the community. Applicants must demonstrate their capacity to effectively implement or coordinate the following program components. Bids may be submitted for one or more specific programs. Education Transition Support Applicants must demonstrate experience working with at-risk individuals over the age of 18 who are neither enrolled in school nor employed. Services include: • • Preparation and support for GED and high school diploma testing. • Post-secondary transition planning, including college readiness workshops, FAFSA completion, and enrollment guidance. • Partnerships with GED programs, community colleges, and adult learning centers. • Academic tutoring, mentoring, and digital literacy programs designed for reentry populations. Vocational Training & Apprenticeships • Assist individuals reentering society after involvement with the criminal justice system.
