1.03 SERVICE REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall provide the following requirements: A. Hours of operation for Judicial Center Café are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At the Judicial Center request during extended trial proceedings, Contractor shall remain open until proceedings are adjourned for the day. Café shall be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Court holidays. Hours may be negotiated upon agreement and written approval from the Judicial Center representative. B. In addition to any other rules, regulations and/or directions of law enforcement or judicial officer exercising their authority over the courthouse complex, Contractor, to include all of its employees, officers, agents, independent contractors, and representatives, shall submit the Manatee County Sheriff (MSO) Security Access form to MSO and pass the MSO background check prior to beginning work. All subsequent staff shall submit the MSO Security Access form and pass the MSO background check prior to beginning work. Background checks shall be at the County’s expense. C. Keep the public seating area of the Café clean and sanitized on a daily basis. D. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and administrative regulations concerning food and beverage preparation, storage, adverting, purity, quality, service, and premises sanitation. E. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness through such actions as regularly cleaning food preparation counters, floors/mats, and regularly removing and disposing of all garbage collected in the food service area. F. Regularly clean the refrigerators and freezers and concession stand interior. G. Remove all trash to the County compactor daily. No open trash or food is to be left over night. H. Water spills, plumbing issues or grease trap maintenance in the Café are the sole responsibility of the Contractor. I. Modifications to the Café are not permitted without prior approval from Judicial Center representative. J. All deliveries by box-truck and transport truck to the Judicial Center must be completed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m., Monday through Friday. Small passenger truck and van deliveries may be received during business hours. K. Provide food and beverage delivery service to patrons outside of the Judicial Center in the surrounding areas. L. Contract with the food and beverage supplier of Contractors choosing. M. All Café personnel shall be in uniform or with visible personal identification. N. Upon termination of an agreement, Contractor shall return or restore the Café to the condition in which it was received at no expense to the County. 1.04 COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES County will provide the following: A. Water and electrical power utilities only. B. Two (2) parking access cards in the garage behind the Clerk of Court. C. Security Surveillance video cameras in the café area. D. Two (2) phone lines, one (1) for internal calls only and one (1) for local calls only.
