DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Malcom Randall VAMC intends to award on a Sole Source basis a maintenance contract for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Pneumatic Tube System Maintenance. The proposed source for the OEM is Translogic Corporation. This Service Contract is a Base plus Four full-service contract. The Pneumatic Tube System is a critical component for the operation of the hospital. The routine inspection and maintenance services are required to ensure that the Pneumatic Tube System remains functional and fully operational. TERMS: 1. The projected Period of Performance of the contract is for Base plus Four option years. LICENSE AND ACCREDITATION 1. The contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and or permits required to perform this work. He or she must be fully qualified/certified to service the equipment indicated in the scope of work and must present qualifications to Biomedical Engineering to keep in the service contract file. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If a company believes that they can complete this service, please provide the necessary documentation from Translogic Corporation stating such. The proposed NAICS 811310 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $12.5 million.
