Specifications include, but are not limited to:The OAG's Office of Statewide Prosecution is the first division that will be utilizing the case management computer software product. This section is directed by the Florida Constitution to prosecute crimes that impact two or more judicial circuits in the State of Florida. Working regularly with state and federal counterparts, the office focuses on complex, often large scale, organized criminal activity. The Office of Statewide Prosecution is authorized to act throughout the State of Florida and works closely with law enforcement and State Attorneys to coordinate the prosecutions of multi-circuit violations of State law. Florida’s Constitution recognizes the importance of victims in the judicial proceedings, and the Office of Statewide Prosecution ensures that crime victims’ rights are protected during these proceedings. Specifically, this RFI seeks the following information: •Case Management Software •Document Processing and Management •Document Imaging/OCR •File Sharing This information will be used to evaluate product availability, solution viability, and procurement options. 3.0 REQUIREMENTS This section enumerates the high-level functional requirements for the software solution. The solution must: • Create reports; be Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) compliant; be configurable without programming; create folders for paperless case files; have a contact directory for the office; have workflow capabilities; have access controls. • Scan in current and incoming documents, and convert documents created in house; catalog and retrieve stored files; be compatible with case management system; have access controls; have archiving capabilities; have viewers for non-compatible files; possess networking capabilities; have various search capabilities.
