The Purpose of this Invitation to Quote (ITQ) solicitation is to secure quoted for the purchase of Manufacturer’s parts, maintenance and repairs for Forklifts by Various OEM Brands. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be used to purchase Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Original Equipment (OE), repair/installation, or preventative maintenance services for Miami-Dade County forklifts by designated OEM brand for Group 1 (OEM/OE Parts) and Group 2 (Services). Each designated OEM brand will be awarded separately by group (e.g., Group A, Group B, Group C), based on the specific forklift brand and service/parts category. A. Bidder must be an authorized dealer and/or repair center for Forklift by designated OEM Brand or has been servicing Forklift equipment systems for a minimum of three (3) years with at least one (1) Customer letter of reference that confirms an ongoing business relationship for a minimum of three (3) years. B. Bidder(s) must have a secured facility that is properly sized, in the form of a fence, locked lot, or a secure building which will allow for the proper repair of transfer trailer(s) as well as storage of units pending repair. This same facility must be fully equipped and capable of performing all the required repair and preventative maintenance services being requested. C. Must be capable of picking and delivering Trailers to the County if the repairs to return the unit to service cannot be performed at a County facility.
